Managing Your Subscription
Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your FOMOchat subscription.
Control your FOMOchat plan and billing.
Accessing Subscription Settings
- Click the Settings icon (top right when logged in)
- Find the Subscription section
- Click Manage Subscription
Current Plan Details
You'll see:
- Current plan name
- Visitor limit
- Usage this month
- Next billing date
Upgrading Your Plan
To increase your visitor limit:
- Click Upgrade
- Choose a higher plan
- Confirm the change
- New limits apply immediately
Prorated billing: You'll only pay the difference for the remainder of your billing cycle.
💡 Key Insight: Upgrades take effect immediately, so you won't lose any visitors if you're approaching your limit.
Downgrading
To reduce your plan:
- Click Change Plan
- Select a lower tier
- Confirm the change
- Takes effect next billing cycle
Note: Downgrading below your current usage may cause the widget to pause.
Auto-Upgrade Setting
By default, auto-upgrade is enabled:
- If you hit your limit, plan upgrades automatically
- Prevents widget from pausing
- You're charged the difference
To disable:
- Go to Settings
- Find Auto-Upgrade
- Toggle off
- Widget will pause if limits exceeded
💡 Pro Tip: Keep auto-upgrade enabled if you can't afford to miss potential leads. Disable it if you have a strict budget and prefer the widget to pause.
Canceling
To cancel your subscription:
- Click Manage Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
What happens:
- Access continues until period ends
- Widget stops after that
- Data is preserved for 30 days
- You can resubscribe anytime
Payment Methods
Updating Card
- Click Manage Subscription
- Click Update Payment Method
- Enter new card details
- Save
Billing History
View past invoices in the subscription portal.
FAQ
Can I pause instead of cancel?
Yes, just disable Production mode. You'll still be billed but can resume anytime.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Preserved for 30 days. Contact support to export.
Do you offer refunds?
We offer prorated refunds for annual plans. Monthly plans are non-refundable.
