    Installing the Embed Code

    Adding FOMOchat to your website is simple. After creating your FOMOchat, you'll get a small script snippet to add to your site.

    Basic Installation

    1. Go to your FOMOchat in the dashboard
    2. Click on the Embed tab
    3. Copy the script code provided
    4. Paste it into your website's HTML just before the closing </body> tag

    Platform-Specific Instructions

    WordPress

    1. Go to Appearance → Theme Editor or use a plugin like "Insert Headers and Footers"
    2. Add the script to your footer section
    3. Save changes

    Shopify

    1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Edit Code
    2. Find theme.liquid in the Layout folder
    3. Paste the script before </body>
    4. Save

    Webflow

    1. Go to Project Settings → Custom Code
    2. Paste the script in the "Footer Code" section
    3. Publish your site

    Squarespace

    1. Go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection
    2. Paste the script in the "Footer" section
    3. Save

    Troubleshooting

    • Widget not appearing? Make sure the script is placed correctly and your FOMOchat is set to active
    • Multiple widgets? Only include the script once per page
    • Testing locally? The widget works on localhost for development
